Thanks guys. I think you'll enjoy the 207 Don. One of the better ones. Fritz, were you around when Air Caribou was up and running? That dates back to FS9 if I remember correctly. We'll see how much time I have for it, but I suspect AC will be my "one-and-only" now .

No, I wasn't around then, or if I was, I wasn't aware of it. I learned about those days from Herb Morse, after I joined up here at Bushpounder's for the first time. Up until then I was just a guy what had bought the game and played it now and again. I got introduced to FS by my friend Jaaky Krant, who was instrumental in the delvelopment of "Emma Field", along with Bill Womack and François Dumas and it was Jaaky who sort of taught me how to fly. In those days I never frequented any forums, so I knew nothing about nothing. Still don't, to be honest. This is the only place I visit regularly.

Nice to see Air Caribou up and running again! Nice livery too. Looks like Global and Vector finally got their act together, at least in this part of the world. Nice scenery.

Well - I bought the airplane!!! Well - the damned download doesn't work!!! I always buy the optional cd/dvd, so if I don't hear back from them, I'll have to wait until one day next week to install it. I was REALLY looking forward to flying it tonight. CRAP!!! They have my money, and I have a receipt! Attached is a picture of the plane I don't have. BP;)

by the by - I am glad this plane is keeping you in the game for the moment! I know the photo stuff will take you away for a bit, but we have to have you here. Oh - and I do like the paint scheme. I like bright airplanes. It's easier to spot the crash. LOL! BP;)

Unfortunate that you can't get the link to work Don. Sounds like a fairly easy fix...if you can find someone to fix it late Fri evening or over the weekend. I didn't know Carenado or Alabeo made their models available on DVD?

They don't. However, if you buy it through Flighsim's store or PC Aviator, they offer it as a download, and for a few more bucks they also send you a DVD. I like it as a backup.
BP;)

@fritz - Well, I'm in the "fortunate" position of knowing everything about nothing. I find I have less to worry about in that state . Jay - Yeah, there was a brief attempt but it was a transplant from Ontario to out west. Never really had the heart for it though. @don - jeez, hope they get that fixed! I've heard of them having problems with their download site. Did you receive a key for it yet? @don - Not sure I'm all that "required" around here . I haven't exactly been a ray of sunshine over the past bunch of months, and I'm pretty sure a number of people are a little tired of hearing my tirades. So am I, frankly . But thanks for the thought - appreciate it .
