I guess summer is taking everyone away. It certainly is me! Work is rather busy, and when I get home, I don't want to see a computer! LOL! Can't wait for cooler weather and fall / winter. That is my preferred time for simming. Hope all you trouble makers are doing well!

Monsoon season here. High temps, high humidity. In July and August we pay for the other 10 months of the year being nice. I'm melting... don't want to turn on the AC because it does such nasty things to the electric bill. It's 79* in the house and 82% humidity with the evaporative cooler going. This time of year is why we call them "swamp" coolers. But hey, my electric bill is $73 dollars a month... LOL Sue

Yep, hot here too. Too hot to sit inside, that's sure. 37°C both inside and out, so I spend most days down by the creek in the shade with my feet in what little water is left. But like Arizona, it's only July and August.

Dog days, here as well. Not as hot as 37 Fritz but sometimes it gets close. We have been getting more rain that we need , Man oh Man Central BC is getting burned out, they sure need the rain we have been getting. As for heat in the house, I'm lucky, as I have an old 90+ years two story brick home that is insulated to the nth degree so, its sometimes so cool inside that a sweater feels good. After my trip to Tim's for my morning coffee my day is very boring and I don't seem to even want to go flying Lazy summer days .
Think I might go up to the Bruce Peninsula one of these days to visit some of my old stomping grounds and have a 'brew or two ' with some old buddies, I might if I'm lucky find some Orchids that grow there. A great area to wander around in and ' get lost ' for a while. Meanwhile; its 0722 here and I hear a mug of Tims Dark Roast regular calling . Cheers. Stay cool Sue.

Unusually dry here in the otherwise glorious PNW. Only one measurable precip occurrence so far in July but temps have been just about right. Since I gave up on FSX, things are fairly quiet on the simming front. Aerofly is still very limited in scope which is fine 'cause I'm not tempted by new models/sceneries etc. Sue, our monthly electric averages around $110 (2000 sq ft and a couple of freezers) but we have our own well and septic so not bad, I guess.

Dave, are the fires as bad as I've been hearing? I know California is very nasty but now I am hearing of a big fire in Washington state.

Just heard that there are still over 100 wildfires still burning in BC, although some other areas are allowing the evacuees back in to go home. Geeezzz !!! last year it was Alberta that got fire ravaged. As usual a lot of the fires in BC were caused by humans. I guess California is getting hit too. I hear there are some fires in your neck of the woods Fritz. Carm.

Been busy as well this summer. Enjoying the weather (been too hot and humid lately) and the outdoors. I've been flying sporadically, and sorting out Prepar3d. I purchased v4 but haven't messed with it too much yet. I've got a nice, stable Prepar3d v3, and I'm slowly moving stuff to 4 as it becomes available. FSX is history right now . -Scott

He got hit by ransomware, and his computer was in the shop. He just got back online a couple days ago. He's having to re install everything. They had to do a wipe of his drives. Sue

Dave, are the fires as bad as I've been hearing? I know California is very nasty but now I am hearing of a big fire in Washington state. Washington seems to be doing better than others. Two major fires in progress - one near Moses Lake, about 700 acres and the other east of Yakima on the Columbia River, 10000 acres.

Spud here! like Sue says ransomware has taken its toll on my system and I'm back to square 0. Can't even install FSX now. Either DVD problems or something in the system prevents an install. Got box out of shop and installed FSX but being in a hurry I installed to the 'default' location. Tried to uninstall; seemed to go OK but FSX would not install to C:\FSX where I want it. So far I can't install FSX no matter what I try so I'm becoming a couch potato watch the "Tube!"
On another subject, the youtube thingy at the end is a result of youtube no longer letting you display pictures using their program without paying them money. I can't figure out how to get rid of the notice and can't 'login' to youtube as far as I recall I don't have a password etc. Any suggestions from the guru's??

Sorry Spud I can't help you. I'm having my problems with photo bucket now. Spud, I get the same visual message you show, I'll be danged if I can figure out how to get rid of. Now Photobucket want to charge to post to a 3rd party whereas there was no charge before. I'm not sure just what to do at this time except to tell photobucket to go take a hike.
