Probably old news for y'all but just in case, Don Grovestine has uploaded a new version of Victoria to the Avsim library dated May 24th.
File Description: CYYJ (2017), Version 7, is a major upgrade to CYYJ (2014). It portrays the Victoria (British Columbia, Canada) International Airport (CYYJ), aviation museum, Pat Bay floatplane base (CAP5) and Coast Guard station, and nearby industrial park as they appeared in early 2017 - as well as a host of static aircraft. It is fully compatible with Victoria+ (both FS2004 And FSX versions), Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska for FS2004 and Ultimate Terrain X - Canada for FSX, ORBX's FTX NA Blue and other FS9 road and shoreline upgrades for the area. CYYJ (2017) includes aircraft and traffic files for a realistic AI scenario other than scheduled airline operations. (Use BC Regional AI - also available from this file library - for scheduled traffic). Version 7 adds all the recent major new construction and apron expansion at CYYJ, and includes a greater level of detail in many areas.

LOL! You beat me to it!! I was heading here to post this. Just read it at SOH. I downloaded it, but haven't installed it. Probably do it later tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for the post! This is my main airport as of late.

Excellent, I don't have it yet. I had an issue or two with the old one and never put it back on after my FS reinstall. Would love a review when you get time to check it out.

Well I don't know if its me or what but this CYYJ download has destroyed my FSX! Scenery.cfg and Terrain.cfg files are both missing or damaged and FSX will not start. What pisses me off was the 35 min. it took to run and install this POS and have it ruin the sim. Wasn't broke so I took care of that !!!!!!

Man, that sucks. Take your time and think it through. If you do take up drinking, at least you'll be saving money no matter how much you drink!! How did you get a virus?

Not sure but I think it was in an e-mail. Got one telling me that FEDEX courier could not contact me with a delivery. I knew I didn't have anything on order but my son does have items shipped in that he buys. The e-mail had an attachment that supposedly had the info for delivery. Tried to open the attachment. Wouldn't open and it was some time after that I noticed the file ext. changes.
Actually this is the very first time I've ever had a problem virus wise. I don't surf sites that ask for e-mails etc. and stick to those I have never had any problems with. I did notice a couple of days later two e-mails from people or places I've never heard of so those were murdered on the spot. Nothing since.

Always mouse over the clickspot and look at the bottom left of your screen. It will show the address that clickspot is for. I got a FEDEX one just today. The mouseover showed it came from Zaire. I'd like to think FEDEX info does not come from Zaire! Be carefull!!!

Glenn, that doesn't seem to work with my e-mail. I use Cox Web Mail and if I open and e-mail with an attachment hover the cursor over the attachment symbol it shows my e-mail. Tried it on several different attachments, all show the same URL for my e-mail. Normally I would have dumped the whole mess but because, as I said, my son does have things delivered via FEDEX etc. both for personal and his business. He was at his lady's house so I thought I'd let him know that he had a delivery pending when I called to tell him. You can bet your butt that ain't gonna happen again.
