Looks like a clearance sale preparing for the merger and having to re-purchase all ORBX stuff over again!

All the latest chit chat is about the imminence of 64 bit. All well and good for those who understand the implications but for those, like me who still thinks 64 bits is $4, how much of the current addons (scenery and planes) will have to be replaced?

It took me years to go from FS9 to FSX. I'm in no hurry anymore. If this was my only hobby, I'd be more into it. My problem is I have too many hobbies! LOL!

Just think about 5 days after a 64 bit simulator hits the market the gottahavethelatest bunch is gonna start mumbleing about 128 bit. Never enough for some folks. I also took a few years to let go of FS9 and still miss some of its simpler features.

I also wonder about replacing things if ever a 64 bit sim is released. I have a 64 bit OS and all of my 32 bit programs run just fine; Photoshop, for example. But for FSX I understand it's a bit different. See this from AVSIM: www.avsim.com/forums/topic/500118-32bit-addons-for-64bit-p3d-usable/ Anyroad, if I have to repurchase everything, or most everything, I doubt very much that I will bother.

If the next P3D is the 64 bit, we have this...

Hi all,
There's been a bunch of speculation about our pricing policy for the next version of P3D, likely based on my previous posts back in December.
Let me clarify: we will NOT be charging anything for our products for the next version of P3D. They will be 100% free to use on the new platform. Better still, through the magic of FTXCv3 you won't even need to re-download them.

No charge for P3D but I'm referring to the new Fly2 sim and ORBX colaborations. Nothing mentioned on that bit that I can fnd.

Re 64 bit. Looks like scenery (ie Orbx) will port easily but some of most aircraft will need new panels - doesn't sound too drastic.

I grabbed 0S9 - Jefferson Co. Intl. I think I'll grab Diamond Point tomorrow. I like flying that Victoria / Vancouver area, and these two add a little something to the south.

Howdy folkses! Oh ya them bastards got me for $100 or so. They plan these sales just right for when I start to get things paid off. Very inconsiderate. Hope all is well. Been too busy to have much fun but always keep an eye on things here
