Certainly sounds good. Let's hope Milviz can capture that sort of feeling. The only thing I took exception to in the article was the necessity for carb heat for the entire flight. No Beaver I ever flew was bad for carb icing. Sure it happened, but only under pretty specific conditions and you'd never leave the carb heat on all the time. You'd lose too much power. Oh, and why oh why does everyone have to make the amphib Beaver?? IRL they weren't that common (although I did fly one for one operator but it performed horribly because it was an amphib!) due to the big loss in payload. Otherwise (notwithstanding his incorrect reference to the "left tank" (fuel) instead of the correctly labeled Front tank) it's a good article and sounds like a good product. Wish the guys that did it for X-Plane were doing it for FSX. I'll read the Otter review later. Would like a good one of those as well.

From bits and pieces it seems that either 'Soul' wasn't interested in developing the Beaver for FSX/P3D or KrazyColin made him an offer he couldn't refuse - something like that. The Otter guys are being coy about FSX/P3D but, if it does well with X-plane, why not? I always used a lot of carb heat when I had water in the gas .

Looks good. JF has become much more adept and this should be a very decent model. Before retiring from FSX, I had their 'Arrow III' and it was right up there.
