The Tri-Pacer is out ( www.alabeo.com) if anyone is looking for that. I'd be interested in your thoughts if you do get it.

I'll probably pass since I have the Lionheart package, but I'd be interested in seeing how they do going back to a simpler plane. They seem to do better when they don't have to model complex systems and avionics.

At least this one is a little more reasonably priced at $24.99 instead of the more typical $34.99 to $37.99 as the past few have been. I **might** give it a try. We'll see.

I, like Scott have the Lion Heart Pacers, and they are okay with me. Only beef I have is finding their hidden master, and battery switches. Cheers, Carm.

I've never used the starter on Bill's Pacer - in the real one it's mounted on the cross brace under the front of the pilot's seat, along with the master.

Lionheart's Pacer is excellent and I can't imagine that Alabeo would even come close. Don't forget that Dave was involved with Lionheart's plane and he actually owned a Pacer.

I can't imagine why Master and Battery switches aren't modeled. Always was a mystery to me.

They are modeled on the carbon fiber bush dash.

Bill had another Pacer guy on the beta and he built the 'Air' file. Between us we got it pretty close - it's perhaps the best general aviation model I've got.

I'm a fan of the LionHeart Pacer as well. Though I prefer the tail draggers, not the nose-gear (Tri-Pacer) models.

Back then Piper really wanted into that 'Drives like your car' market so they took the Pacer, reversed the main gear and moved it back on the longerons then added a nose wheel - voila, the flying milkstool.

Unreal! A guy at Avsim just pointed out that they screwed up the Artificial Horizon. Just for S&G's, I had a look at one we've got here, and sure enough, Alabeo managed to screw up one of the most basic instruments on their panel, and one that is something they've supposedly programmed a gazillion times before. Unbelievable. Caveat emptor!
