Took these folks into Alta Lake, by Whistler, the other day and they requested I pick them up by Pemberton for the ride back to Vancouver. So here we are, on the go from the north end of Lilloohet Lake. This is a perfect VFR flyway following interconnecting lakes to the Fraser River. Tipella is off our right wing as we traverse Harrison Lake . Making the turn to follow the Fraser westbound to Vancouver. About to set down in Vancouver Harbor. Nice ride - no puke bags to discard.

Nice ones Dave! Really good series (love your water in the first one - wish it looked like that in FS).
Puke bags were something I never worried about in the Beaver (unlike the 185!!). The Beaver rides turbulence so softly that you barely feel it, comparatively speaking. I don't think I had more than a couple of people toss in it in the years that I flew it, unlike the 185 which was every couple of days (or more) in the summer. Winters weren't bad because it was usually calm, but man, summers were a bitch.

One of the pet theories was the closer we flew to cloud bases, especially Cumulus, the more free lift (some consideration given to cloud distance rules but no a whole lot). This allowed rolling the trim forward to up the airspeed, no addition of power, maintain altitude but the ride was Gawdawful.

Nice ones Dave! The default Beaver is pretty nice, especially considering it's age now . -Scott

I can tell you this from personal experience - the default Beaver's FDE's are as close to the real thing as you can get. The Aerosoft one left a little to be desired (and the sound package with it was a joke for a Beaver - use the default sounds - that IS a Beaver). I too will be interested to see how it comes out.
