Very short flight today from our new base in London/Stansted to Amsterdam. We had a pretty hefty load but not a whole lot of gas, and our "cruising" altitude was FL210 (which we were at for all of about 2 minutes ). Next flight I expect will be headed for Vienna.

There are some long, slow and low SID's in the UK. We were held at 4 to 6 thou for a good 30 miles after takeoff. It was painful

And before you knew it we were on final for 06 at Amsterdam/Schipol. Short and very busy flight!

Nice PIREP Glenn! I like the look of your airport scenery. Also, your ground scenery makes me realize how bored I'm getting with winter textures in New England right now .

Thanks Scott. That's UK2000's Stansted Extreme to Fly Tampa's Schipol, although it was messed up (my fault) so I didn't show any close ups of it. They don't get a lot of winter in the UK or coastal Europe thus the textures there. Planning on Vienna sometime soon. I'm sure that will still be winter.
