Very short flight today from our new base in London/Stansted to Amsterdam. We had a pretty hefty load but not a whole lot of gas, and our "cruising" altitude was FL210 (which we were at for all of about 2 minutes ). Next flight I expect will be headed for Vienna. Loading up Passing a UPS machine on the way out On the roll There are some long, slow and low SID's in the UK. We were held at 4 to 6 thou for a good 30 miles after takeoff. It was painful East of London Finall, we were cleared to go UP And before you knew it we were on final for 06 at Amsterdam/Schipol. Short and very busy flight!

Nice PIREP Glenn! I like the look of your airport scenery. Also, your ground scenery makes me realize how bored I'm getting with winter textures in New England right now . -Scott

Thanks Scott. That's UK2000's Stansted Extreme to Fly Tampa's Schipol, although it was messed up (my fault) so I didn't show any close ups of it. They don't get a lot of winter in the UK or coastal Europe thus the textures there. Planning on Vienna sometime soon. I'm sure that will still be winter.
