Someone here (don't remember if it was Spud or Dave) recently installed Scotflight and ran into all kinds of problems. I can't find the thread now, so would whoever that person is mind dropping a line here to let me know how you liked it and if you got the issues sorted out? Also what was the issue? I'm considering it (although the screenshots aren't very appealing I must admit) but don't want to run into the same problem.
Many thanks.

Believe both Spud and I installed the '3forthbridges' scenery. My install was uneventful but Spud indicated some problems. The overall Scotflight scenery is nowhere near the quality of the Orbx version and it, IMHO, is was one of their lesser releases. The outfit they hired to do the several UK sceneries just didn't cut it. I had all of Scotflight for FS9 and, at that time, it was on a par with other offerings.

Thanks Dave. I have the same opinion of Scotflight on the quality, which is why I've been rather hesitant. I too had it for FS9 and it was good then, but there doesn't seem to have been any real improvements. I agree on the UK scenery as well from Orbx, although other than the airports, it's ok. UK2000 improves things considerably (better than Scotflight IMO), particularly their Extreme series, but it's not up to Orbx's quality. I do have the UK series (and a few of the Extreme airports), so it certainly makes flying there a lot more interesting and Gary's work is better than Scotflight's IMO. I think I'll give Scotflight a pass and maybe spend some quality time in the Isles.
Thanks for your input.
