That's exactly what I'm trying to do Fritz 
. I asked about it over on their early access forums. It sounds like it might be possible now to do water landing areas. If you fly a float plane and land on water you won't take damage. Right now, off-airport land locations won't work since it applies crash damage if you don't hit a runway. It's not smart enough to know you are flying a tundra wheel bush plane meant to land on rugged terrain . The developer is working on it, so hopefully that will work at some point. Right now I've been having fun with my New England company getting use out of the light utility twins I've acquired. It's got me flying when I might not have otherwise .
