Anyone of the AH2 users here have a virtual airline set up? Before I started one I'd rather see if there was one going already I could jump in with. Not the single-player version, but an actual virtual airline you can build and administer through AH-2 and connect with other real life players.
To be honest I just found the option after getting around to updating to the latest version (but I think it's still beta/pre-release) ...
@scott @glenn and @anyone else who may have Air Hauler 2.
Edit: It is tied to your own VA within AH 2, I simply didn't know I could invite other people to it. Learn something new every day.

I haven't tried out any of the VA stuff yet Sandy. I think you can create a VA and invite people. I believe you can keep your single player stuff separate.
The VA stuff is pretty recent, and the latest updates seem to mostly be tweaks to the VA stuff. If you want to try out some of the VA stuff, let me know. I'd be interested in seeing how it works.

It's been so long since I've used AH at all Sandy, I don't really remember much about it. I found it a bit restrictive for my "flights of fancy" to be honest. I probably should have it and settle down somewhere. A little stability wouldn't be a bad thing. Sorry I can't help you much on that one.

I haven't even figured out how to get a share code to invite anyone to my AH2 virtual airline, lol ... More reading. Need more reading.

Do you guys know if it's possible to set up off-airport locations as destinations in AH2? It would be nice to be able to set it up for trips to cabins and such.

Jay, I tried early on to set up some lakeside cabin locations without much success. I don't know if any of the more recent releases have fixed this. I just posted a question about this to the Air Hauler early access forums. I'll let you know what I hear.

No, there's some discussion about this in the ea forum. If you were to create your own airports then it would work I surmise. Which I cannot do so I ignored the thread. Lots want this option. I find there's plenty of places to go without adding more....

It's located under VA, (top menu), then Virtual Airline, slight below left, then pilots, right under the Pilot tab "get join code" I created one but have yet to use it. Bought a C310R to start it up

That's interesting, it can't be that difficult making additional airports. I remember asking the dev about custom destinations after the original AH came out, but he didn't like it because it would allow people to "cheat" the game somehow. Why that would be problem I don't know... If I remember correctly AH1 didn't even allow the additional airports from Orbx.

"Yes and no. Yes you can with the custom airport feature, however, when you land, you'll get surface damage from the landclass as there's no way to prevent that at the moment, although I will put something in for the future.
That is unless you actually add grass runways at the cabin locations with an airport creation/editor tool of course."
and there was another comment about telling add on scenery developers to properly represent runways in FS then it would be possible.....

Well, that's interesting, kinda thinking it involves more learning and work with the sim than I'm willing to right now though. hehe
Thanks for finding out for me!

If they ever get AH to the point where you can add custom destinations easily, I'll have it. Until then ...

I've been trying to experiment with adding custom destinations, but somehow my database got corrupted and it crashes every time I try to do a custom location. I sent my file over for them to look out but haven't got it back fixed yet. If I can finally get in and test it, I'll see what's possible right now.

Right nice of you to take the trouble, Scott. What I envisioned with AH2 was the possibility of adding the RTMM locations to the data base, for example. Surely there's someone out there who could write a program that isn't a game? Never mind, it's just another one of my dreams.
