Some might find this site on runway length requirements (and other things I've not yet discovered) useful. Have a gander: aircyber.weebly.com/aircraft-runway-requirements.htmlI was interested to see (but not surprised) that the Avro RJ85 only needs 3000 ft (roughly) of runway, which beats the Dash 8-300 (this is very useful to me). Now I think these are balanced field lengths as I know the 727-100 can get off/on is much less distance than is what is listed here (I've personally seen it), so these are conservative numbers, especially in a simulator.

I question these figures. Are these at full gross, etc., etc.? What caught my eye was the Concord. Concord flew into Ft. Lauderdale one time in the early 80s. The long runway back then was not 10,000 feet. I think these figures are for max load, aborted takeoff at V1, then to a full stop. What do you think?

Yeah, that's why I said balanced field lengths. They give the 727-100 about 8000 ft (roughly) and I've seen them go in/out fully loaded (probably well below gross though without a whole lot of fuel) of a 5000 ft gravel/dirt strip up north. I'm sure those are max lengths for accelerate/stop conditions.
