This guy was a pilot's pilot. He was one amazing pilot and person. Dead at 94.

                        The aviation world is all the poorer at the passing of RA "Bob" Hoover.

                 I, just the other day started a book called 'Forever Flying' which is an autobiography by Bob. Amongst other highlights it has a Forward by Chuck Yeager-- a good pal of Bob.

                  It says a lot of the man when you read of the many awards he received, both military and civilian.  Examples--- Distinguished Flying Cross,  Soldiers Medal for Valor,  Air Medal with Clusters, Purple Heart, French Croix de Guerre.    His civi awards are too many too mention here.

                                    He will be missed
