I have just gone back to FS2004 and after installing it started looking through my old disks. Much to my surprise and delight I found the complete Bush Flying Unlimited (remember them?) ai program with aircraft and flight plans. Also have the old Misty Fjords and Holger's Glacier Bay. I'm gonna have to see if I can still get Pete and Sid's bush airports.

I'm pretty sure that I still have a bunch of FS9 scenery, landclass, and I don't remember what all, on disc, somewhere in the house, I'd have to look.

Reminds me of my first post on another site when I was just starting with FS9. I'd read that there was a way - believe it was called a 'crack', to get around starting the sim with a CD so this was the essence of my post. The responses almost froze my 'dial up' - I was so ashamed. It felt like my epaulettes had been ripped off and my sword snapped - needless to say the romance was over before it began.

The 'crack' is readily available from several places on the internet.

And raise your right hand. I kept it on my desktop to send to people.

ROFLMAO! Me too! I still have a bunch of FS9 stuff too. I use a lot of it for Golden Wings.

The MAAM DC-3 alone makes FS2004 worth at least sharing space with FSX or P3D. Now that I have reinstalled and flown FS2004 for a couple of days it's not going away even if I later do reinstall P3D/Orbx when things over there get stabilized.
My avatar is a MAAM DC-3 in Western Airlines livery at California Classics' KSFO backdated to 1962.

Those retro airports are something special.
