Bill's getting into the Premier League, pricewise so I'll wait to read the reviews.

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting a jet but knowing almost zilch about them I think I'm with Dave on this. I'll wait and see what folks say.

I was going to get it, but the graphics aren't very good for this airplane (surprisingly considering who did it). The tip tanks are completely the wrong shape for a Lear (looks like they are off a T33), the windows are waaaay to large and there's no anti-icing appendage on the front windscreen as there are in all Lears, the cabin looks like you can get up and walk around in it, which is way too big for a Lear (you practically have to crawl to your seats in those machines, and yes, I have been in them), based on a DVD of an Amerijet Lear 24 DVD I have, the sounds are way off and from what I've read the airplane is terribly over powered (I don't have it so I can't confirm it). The Lear has very classic lines and looks to them and this one doesn't make it for me, which is largely why I left it alone. The panel does look really good, but there seems to be a huge pop-up window that comes up on final that tells you not to land with fuel in the wing tanks. It completely interrupts the flight. Now I don't know if you can turn that off or not, and presumably it doesn't come up if you have transferred your fuel to the tip tanks, but nevertheless that would happen to me once and I'd be asking for a refund if I couldn't turn that off permanently.
Anyway, don't know if any of that matters to anyone, or if anyone cares about that stuff, but that's my take on it. FWIW (probably zilch).

Thanks, Glenn. I guess I didn't really want a jet, anyway.

Well now that you mention it Glenn... I was looking forward to this release, until I started seeing how the exterior was taking shape. Glenn, I'm guessing by "windows" you mean the front windscreens? Yes, they're HUGE (as compared to the RW Lear 24B). Also agree about the tip tanks, they should start tapering towards the front well before they do and they should come to a sharper point. Maybe trivial matters, but these early Lears were so nice looking, and those tip tanks and wrap around windshield were two of it's defining characteristics. That plus some of the FDE issues, I've decided to pass on this one. I own a lot of Lionheart's models and have enjoyed them all. Funny too, with all the plan view drawings available today it's very rare that developers get the external dimensions so out of whack.

Mainly the front windscreens, but if you look at any interior shots, the people are waaay too small for the size of the windows and the cabin. It's probably just that he scaled the people small rather than the windows (side) too large, but the dimensions are way off. Like I said, I've been in one of those (not flying, unfortunately) and they are pretty tiny. I was bent way over to "walk" to the seat (almost crawling) and I'm only 5'9". These people look like they could stand up in there.

"Which twin has the Toni?" Here's a comparison pic of two Lear 24B's. The top one's for sale for around half a mil and the bottom one is Bill's.

Good comparison of the tip tanks, but the real one is the next gen version to what Bill did. His is the very early 24B, which was a takeoff from the 23. The real one was one they stretched a tiny bit and changed the windows. Other than that though, they are basically the same airplane. That said, I'm now noticing the gear legs on Bill's are noticeably too long. Hmmnn... .

There is a slight viewing angle difference. Bill's slightly lower - you can see a little of the underside of the wing and this adds to the perception of longer gear. Other than the tip tank length, I noticed more washout in the top model and a little more graceful modelling - also with the engine nacelle and, of course, the addition of reversers.

The empannage is quite different between the two. They look like "cousins" to me.
