Have tried that a couple of times with the built in 'update' but no joy. Most times the program (.exe) just doesn't want to go - end up getting some kind of SQL message. As I recall it has about the worst installation process (PC Aviation) encountered so far. Glad it was a 50% sale.

I stopped with Rex Essential. Anything particularly special with Texture Direct?

With a weather engine other than default FSX, I think it'd be much better. As it is, the cloud textures seem to be pretty much the same although the cumulus seems to stack higher and the overcasts are much closer to 8/8ths than before. As I said, if it hadn't been half price..........

They're either a subsidiary of or very closely tied to Orbx and, like them, they have too many pots for the burners available.
