Todd - that's just the point. It WON'T go BOOM if you let it spool up first . It'll get to around 15 or 20% N1 (I think it's N1, but it could be N2) and just sit there until the fuel is introduced. If you introduce the fuel too soon, you get fuel pooling and not enough air going through, and that is when you get the BOOM . There are others here who can explain it better than I, but that's the basic premise. It's important to remember though - I'm talking manual starts like in the Lear. In the Mustang and Citation X, they are FADEC, so basically you hit the starter and wait. Everything is automatic.

Well we're off and running. I redownloaded the A/C and now the screens are active. --- beats me . Just have to bone up on my FMC stuff now.

Yeah, you sure like jumping into the deep end, don't you Todd . FYI, I've reloaded the Cessna 550 and am going to give it another go. I'll let you know how that goes.

Haha ya sometimes I bite off a bit more than I can chew but its keeps my brain young I suppose Cool ya let me know what you find. Im kind of enjoying the idea of getting into some more general/business aviation for a little bit. As much as I love the bush flying its all I have ever done in FSX so its cool to branch out a bit.
