Taking A2A's latest little jewel, the Piper Cherokee 180, for a few bump-n-go's around Bonner's Ferry. P3D v2.3, Orbx stuff, OpusFSX, REX4 TD ... In other words, all the candy I can muster. (click image for full resolution .png screen-shot)

Surprisingly solid. Sort of like it's meant to be... I have it set to max out at 30, and only rarely does it stray below that. Pretty sure a lot of that is due to the new NVidia GTX770 card. Handles all that P3D can throw at it quite well.

Yeah, I imagine the 770 can cope.

Your FS world is slightly darker then mine. The 'ENB's', 'SweetFX' and other super shaders seem to be in vogue so I dug out my download of 'Shade' to give it another try.

I've got Shade also... Hmm, ought to give it a go. Thanks for the nudge. And the darker world is due more to late evening or early-ish morning times that I prefer to fly. I don't often fly at high noon.
Re: the Cherokee, I'm really enjoying it. I've always preferred a low-wing aircraft, and this one just feels right in so many ways. I want to run down to the local airport and beg/barter/buy a ride with someone who has one.
The high wing planes just don't "do it" for me. Point of reference: my previous favorite aircraft in the sim has been the Carenado Bonanza V-Tail. Still is I suppose, though I wish an A2A or RealAir would do a completely new model of the V-tail, both in historic 1950's steam and modern glass. I would buy it.
