I'm really annoyed at myself that I couldn't get there Glenn. Great pics. I see my buddy Gord was there, I spotted his letters away in the background on one shot. Carm.

Thanks gents, appreciate the comments. Yeah Don, it's the "old" cellphone I used for these . It was a good time there Carm. I only stayed a couple of hours but it was fun. Now I need to get these up to the hosts before they think I've run away with them .

Beautiful grass airport. Never seen a Cub with such little tires.

There's something about that Air knocker that doesn't look quite right.---- ie the prop. I wonder what is under the hood .
Carm.

It is a nice little strip Dave. Really friendly people running it. It's out in the country where there are gazillions of these little strips around. Only thing you have to be careful of here are the high tension lines about a mile north of the runway and the wind turbines (less of a hazard) opposite the runway (you'd have to be seriously off course to hit those). Otherwise really sweet.
Which one are you referring to Carm (give me an image number)?

Probably not, the rest of it looks pretty pristine.

Looks to me like it's sitting on a little hill and the tail wheel is lower than the mains.

Well, it's not massaged in any way other than the usual processing from the RAW format. The tail wheel might be in a small depression though. The ground is a bit rough there. Maybe too it's the red vs. green (two primary colours together can sometimes play tricks with you), but nope, that's the way it looked. As for the prop, it is a wooden prop. No doubt not the first that airplane has had, but I don't know the particulars of that aircraft (i.e. has it been modified). It sure was nice and smooth though!
