Finally got brave and ran FTX Central again this morning and fingers crossed it seems that everything is updated and working properly.
Just passing that along.

Well with the new single IC Lookup update FTX Central no longer allows you to change regions (Global, North America, Oceania etc. Now all regions are 'active' all the time. Of course the upgrade has experienced problems for some users, particularly in P3D it seems. I have not experienced anything major in FSX. FWIW with the new update to FSX Central there is no 'Apply' button any longer so switching is not even possible.

My textures are all screwed up. They change, morph while you look at them. I am waiting for the fix. I can still fly, but they are screwed. I hope I do not have to reinstall it all. I have 25+ sceneries.

This is abhorrent and absolute bullsh*t. You go to the FTX website without signing in and the notice is still up to go update your FTXC, with not a word about the screw up. I don't know if they've taken the update down, but if they haven't, then that's really a low blow by them. I'll need to think twice before I buy anything further from them if that's the case.

Yeper Fritz.. this is what I got when I tried to log in this AM using the link you gave me, which was working fine until now. Me thinks JV&Co have a Problem.

Oh good. The guy they need to fix textures has gone on holidays right after a major update that can (and IS!!!) affect textures in a big way. Of course, that nicely coincides with changing their servers, right after said major updates. I really don't know what to say. I did manage to get in this morning and the bug lists are "legendary". These guys have created a monster and I'm not at all sure how they are going to fix it. Or, even if it CAN be fixed. And I thought Milviz was bad.

They have really handled this in a very rookie kind of way for a developer that has been around as long as they have.
If they break my new install after working on it for 2 weeks im going to come unglued!

Apparently the ultimate goal is the really ambitious FTX Central III which, among other things, virtually eliminates the purchase process through the Flight Sim Store and their annoying 'wrappers'. As we've discovered with recent events, none of this excellence comes without cost so, if you've been a bit upset with Orbx lately, gird your loins for something really serious. Be sure to read JV's thread locking remarks on Orbx - he's really torqued.
