Hi, all! To kick off the new forum, I was wondering if there might be some interest in having a bush flying screenshot contest. If so, I have some ideas and parameters, and I think it would be fun to do. If you are on board, I will go more into it and see what you think. The prize would be an autographed picture of Glenn in his spandex flight suit. So, whatcha think?

Third prize is Don, Fritz and I, all NOT in Spandex. Don't ask, but it has something to do with what you'd wear to a "birthday"  PS - Don - you'll need something a LOT stronger than "air" my friend   PS - really like these new boards Don!! I'm on at work here (ssshhhhh  ) and not a hint of a problem. Logged in at the old site just for S&G's, and the redirect was almost instant. Good move man!! |

I have been REALLY busy. I have not had time to even think about the contest. As soon as this weekend is over and our train leaves for overhaul, I will have more time to think and do things again!

Just curious as to how one attaches a screen shot? Do I have to use something like the horrendous PhotoBucket program? Used to be easy to use but the interface has changed so much it just SUKS!

A nuisance, isn't it. I believe that's how I had to attach pics in another post, using an external 'album' as the source. What's interesting, though, is that avatars can be posted directly from your own computer. If that option could be extended to screenshot posting, it would make things much more accessible and pretty well painless.

SOH still has the option of uploading from your computer or a URL. 'Deviant Art' is straight from your computer but, of course, you have to a deviant to post.
