carm - no, that's intentional. I asked them to do that because there were a number of trips where I really, really, really wanted to stuff at least one of my passengers in the nose compartment for the duration of the trip By the by Carm, check your PM @dave - it actually does a little bit. I noticed it when repainting last night. It's hard to see in those shots. I guess those emblems are a very specific dimension and ratio, so they don't extend all the way to the back of the tail. I believe it's the same on the Comanche if I remember correctly. In any event, this is their paint, and trying to add to it would be a royal nightmare I'm afraid. If it is wrong, I'll have to just live with it .

Much as I hate to admit it, those are "C" paints blue and red and they're correct.

I wish they would include at least one factory paint from the era it was made. They have an early-mid 60's paint scheme on a late 70s aircraft. While the late 70's weren't all that bright and colorful, they did have an appeal.

I think they do have the one Don. Check their screenshots - there is one in there that's identical to one we have on the field here. Only one though. You're right about the others though. The blue one I painted up (their design, my colours - CF-ACA) is from an Aztec C, and I think the one Bob had in the screenshot he posted here is actually a "B" model (never saw that on a C, but I've never seen that one on an Aztec of any sort, so I'm assuming it's a B or earlier).

On the overhead panel I think. You might have to move the visor, but pretty sure the controls are up there.

Apparently there's an extended cargo mod for the Aztec if anyone is interested.

I just grabbed it this morning. Not bad! I only flew it about 20 minutes, but I think this one is a winner! This is the last plane I will probably buy. I have all the planes I flew. Maybe if a really nice Beech 18 came along I would probably grab it. Now I'll just concentrate on scenery.

I'm in the same boat Don. I did a flight last night with the TC version. Nowhere near as nice IMO. The model is bug-ridden as usual, which you'll find out as you fly it (it's an Alabeo "light-weight" model at Carenado prices now sadly), but getting rid of the turbos gets rid of the lack of sound reduction from TO back to a low cruise power setting (for a turbo'd model). Their idea of having 34" as max TO power is a joke. Even in the manual it tells you not to exceed 39.5" up to 18,000, and that high speed cruise is done at 34". I doubt the manual would tell you that if the engines could only get 34" max nor would they have the redline at 46". Anyway, I've deep-sixed the turbo's. The rest of the stuff (radio on/off switches not doing anything, the ammeter acting like a loadmeter (but not really doing anything anyway), the lousy landing light splash (looks good but only extends to the front of the tow bar), the taxi light that has a splash but isn't illuminated when looking at it from the exterior view, etc., etc.) I can live with as long as the sounds are reasonable. Without the turbo's they are (not good, just reasonable). So yeah, my #1 airplane is still the T-Duke, followed by all the A2A machines. The Aztec comes in after that. But buying airplanes is costing me $$$ that I'm just not able (nor do I want to) afford anymore. Besides, with the photography coming back into full swing, my simming time is cut to a bare minimum, so I'll likely be flying the airplane I like the most the vast majority of the time. I really don't need anything new in my stable at this point, especially from the SAFS (South American Fraud Squad ). I'm still glad I got the Aztec, but had it not been an Aztec, it would have gone back. Or, more likely, I wouldn't have got it in the first place .
