Well, maybe in one last desperate attempt at getting back into FSX, Bob and I have "bought an air service". Or, at least the license to one. Bob's been away getting our first airplane, but in the mean time I found one sitting in Whitehorse the other day. It's definitely seen better days, and it's pretty obvious what the environment this machine has been and is going to be used in, but it is airworthy so I flew it home last night to our main base at Haines Junction. We are looking to add 3 or 4 more 185's, a 206 and we've heard rumours about a 207 coming available sometime this fall, which we'd be interested in. We bought the rights to operate from Haines Junction and Atlin. It'll be a slow process getting going, and we have yet to fly our first flight, but we're hopeful this will work into something good down the road.

Looks like the weight of an oil change on the fuselage. A hose and bucket of soapy water could help.

At least that much weight . As soon as we get our second machine, this one is going out for painting (and cleaning, obviously ). That shot was taken right after a couple of runs to river bars on the Tatshenshini.

I was out flying the 185 the other night. That is still a nice airplane. I'm heading back west to AK and BC and Yukon areas for the fall/early winter flying.
BP;)

Yeah, the 185 is a fine machine. I remember how hard Glenn and Bernt worked to make it so.
