What's your weather like up there right now? I'm heading for home shortly, but it looks like it is downright ugly up there, or about to be so! What's the word?

As to the weather 'up here now' ---its lousy; vis about 30-40 feet in snow blowing off the lakes. And to top it off , my old snowblower gave up the ghost yesterday. I went out to start it and gave it a prime -- pulled it through, it backfired once and that was it. !!! Thanks to my neighbour he did the drive for me so I could get out for my morning Tims coffee.  Don't know about tomorrow Am ----its really snowing with a vengeance. All that spring like weather the last few weeks has got me spoiled.  Cheers, Carm.

Yeah, not a bad ride home, but if it keeps up like it is now for very long, I won't be going to work tomorrow. It is absolutely brutal out there right now!!!

Yeah, not a bad ride home, but if it keeps up like it is now for very long, I won't be going to work tomorrow. It is absolutely brutal out there right now!!! Try your OPUS actual weather - see what you get . |

A little late  . That was quite a few days ago now. Opus gives me the same thing every time though. It drops the bottom layer and adds an upper layer for some reason. Anyway, it's good for local, boonies stuff and does give nice cloud depictions. |

<LOL> one of the pics on the online CBC site (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) is of a girl cleaning off her car in your neck of the woods (same city even) Don. She's pretty cute, too . How much do you have so far? I've never been in a 60 cm snow-dump, and I live in the snow belt . Pisses me off that a guy living where you do is going to beat me to it <LOL>. |

Right now it is about 8" (the snow!), but the heaviest coming is from 6PM to 3AM tonight. That is supposed to be about a foot or so. I would be VERY surprised we hit 24" - 30".
