I've sure been wracking up the frequent flyer miles of late. I got back to Calgary mid afternoon of yesterday from Oslo, and then was on a late flight to Redding (eventually), California. I was down there to pick up one of our Lear's that was going into air ambulance service shortly. We had bought this one down in Redding and left it there to be painted. That was now done so very early this morning myself and George, my CP prepped and boarded the Lear for the trip back to our Canadian HQ at Calgary/Springbank airport. It would be a 2 hour flight in all, all done at FL390 with reasonably favourable winds. The weather at both ends was good and the flight (for the most part) uneventful. There are still a few niggling issues with the autopilot and our fuel transfer system didn't seem to do quite the job I expected, plus we have a dimming issue with the GPS, but otherwise things were very, very good. A nice relaxing flight in all. So, some pics for you to have a gander at (this will take up 2 panes, so stay tuned ) Ready to go. Note the cabin and stair lights Don't quite understand how you're supposed to read the GPS. It's like this for night time operations and while it's a good idea in theory, it doesn't work in practice. Can't seem to convince FSW though for some reason. Wish I had his eye sight! Climbing out over California A long climb to 390 but it was nice up there. I went into the back for a bit of a break while George monitored the instruments. Need to get the AA interior put into this up in Calgary Life in the "high" lane

Some nice clouds down below It's a little "breezy" stepping outside at M0.78, but what the hey... Love the blue/black sky though Finally, letting it all hang out on approach to Springbank. It was just a bit before here that I found out Orbx never programmed in the ILS for 34. Fortunately it was good weather and we did a visual. Crosswind was "interesting" though! I like this bird! I like this bird Hope you enjoyed

Hell, I'm already back in Norway again ! I'm bored of the NA airports . Plus the Norwegian ones are so well done that it's hard to stay away.
