Air Caribou did keep a King Air B200 Blackhawk and a PC 12 in their fleet for continued use as an air ambulance. A week ago Friday we found out we won a major contract with the Ontario Government for air ambulances services in the Northeast (Ontario). This covers a large area. The Ontario Air Ambulance program is called "Trillium" and we received our King Air back from the paint shop in Goderich on Saturday morning in her new "Trillium" colours. This is still an Air Caribou airplane, but it has the Provincial Air Ambulance system colours on it now. We received our first assignment, transporting a patient home from Sudbury to Moosonee this afternoon. Good flight in all, mostly at FL250 in smooth air. Weather was a little down at Moosonee, but nothing to worry about. The trip was about 1.5 hours door to door, but we had some pretty major headwinds along the way. Some pics for your viewing pleasure. On the ramp at Sudbury Enroute FL240 (south of Timmins; we climbed to 250 shortly after passing YTS) Enroute Just starting to get a glimpse of the airport at Moosonee Taxiing in to the ramp at Moosonee.

Thanks Don, appreciate that . Some shots from the return trip. Just off 24 at Moosonee, climbing for FL300 I stepped outside for a little air . I can see I have to move the medical insignia a bit . On descent about 50 north of Sudbury On the ILS for 22 at Sudbury. Good trips.

Excellent paint - a Trillium is more than a billion, right?

Nice snaps. Nice paint job. Does this count as a new operation? If so, no fair, it's not Tuesday!

@dave - Thanks. Yes, except on Tuesdays. Oh, and Thursday nights between 09:00 and 09:12 @fritz - Thank you . No, this is still Air Caribou. It's a contract job we have which has a couple of our dedicated air ambulance aircraft repainted for that purpose, but the aircraft are owned and operated by Air Caribou. And no, it's not Tuesday... yet .
