Good morning my friends,

Lot I have to say/want to say but I only get 3 to 4 minutes useful time sitting up at the moment so this will have to be very short for now. Thanks for all the wishes and teasing ( ) over the past few days. This turned out to be far more major and extensive than I thought and the recovery will take a fair bit of time. It was successful though, and the impact of what I had wrong is only now starting to make itself known as my arms start to return to normal operation. Just want to say a huge thank you to my sister for looking after me. Honestly not at all sure how I would me making it through alll this without her. Anyway, hopefully I can [post again later today but the pain now is telling me I gotta get outta here. I can still read posts on the forum on my tablet but i can't post from there. Bob, got your mjessage - hope to chat with you and Don tronight. Take care all and thanks again (I'll expand on the "clothing" later ).

Good Morning Gentlemen,
Well, my sitting up time is starting to extend into 10 minutes so things are improving. Thank you again for all the well wishes. I was talking with my sister this morning and she says that she was so pleased to have "met" you all (not sure I'm comfortable with that, but anyway... ). Now she did say that she finds all of you to be a really great bunch of people. Her only caveat is that she questions your collective sanity given that I'm part of this group. I want you to know though, I've never questioned your sanity. After all, you can't question something that doesn't exist .

Anyway, I'm gradually getting back to some distant resemblence of normality. I don't know if I said this elsewhere but the surgery was way more extensive than originally planned and the recovery is going to be a long one, but the fear of becoming a quad is now alleviated, thank goodness.

Alright, my neck is telling me I'm just about at the end of my alloted time for now. I'll be glad when I can sit up long enough to actually start simming again. That is a week or two away at this point I'm afraid. Hopefully I'll be able to get back on here more than once a day though (I have to protect what's left of my good name, apparently   ).

Glad to see you're improving, Glenn. Sort of frustrating being on this end of your troubles, completely helpless to offer anything more than moral support. I know there are those nearby you converse with regularly, but for those of us out here on the fringes... We all wish you a safe and speedy recovery. Emphasis on 'safe'. Speedy would be nice, but if it takes a while longer for the bits and pieces to mesh back together properly, we're okay with a little longer wait. As long as you're able to get back in the virtual pilot's seat and tear Alabooboo a(nother) new orifice for their sloppy (but prettily painted) renditions of fine aircraft and their systems.

Thanks Sandy. Yeah, I'm getting into the "frustrating" bit now. I also have 27 staples in my back that are starting to really smart. They come out Thursday.

Hell, I have a staple remover I don't use. I could have sent it to you. It would have cost about $200.00 and taken a week or two, but it could have helped!
