BP;) Nemeth Designs. The external lights (nav, strobe, beacon) don't work with DX10 - forced me to buy shockwave and they're not very realistic, just bright. It's a sweet bird though.

Wow !! Good stuff . Carm. How about that old Airways weather code - probably looks like hieroglyphics to the younger troops.

Well, ya got me, for one. I found this; www.ominous-valve.com/wx_codes.txt which is interesting but doesn't mention any "Airways" code. Please clarify. P.S. Don't try to open that link directly, it's a .txt file. Copy and paste the URL into your browser instead.

Yeah, that is something I recognize but I still don't get W1X1/2F. Indefinte ceiling one hundred sky obscured visibility one half fog. The 'indefinite' is the weather observer's estimate of vertical visibility and the pilot can usually see the ground from a bit higher - essentially like flying in stratus almost touching the ground. The variation was '-X' a partial obscuration (9/10ths or less of the sky). Look in the sky and ceiling column of what Don posted.

I'm a bit thick, apparently. I didn't see it as 1/2, I saw it as W1X1 ... 2F. Well, what can I say? Some days are better than others.
