Open FTX Central V2.
Click on setting at the bottom.
Put an X in the bottom two boxes of the FTX Central section (Show desktop icon, and Show active region on desktop icon.)
That should do it for you.

Thanks Spud. I should have been more clear. I have the icon on my DT, but it was showing as an MS default program icon, not the FTX Central 2 icon that comes with the program. I fiddled with it and finally got the icon to stick, so I'm good to go. Appreciate the help.

Have you started FTX Central v2 picked Europe region and then to the right of Norway entry clicked on Configure? When the Norway control panel pops up click "Open Water". Should melt some of the 'hard stuff'. AAAHHH !! OH,OH I have opened my ORBX Central 2 from the desktop icon and I do not have a Europe Region. Under the title FTX Regions, only North American regions. Under the title Groups-- I have Default, North America and Oceania only.  Carm. PS , Do I need Global ?

Have you bought any of the European fat regions (the UK or Norway)? If not, you won't have a Europe in there.
No, don't need Global for any fat regions.
