Carenado has a "Coming Soon" sign for the 'Navajoe' now, and it does look to be Flight 1 GTN 750 ready. Maybe a week tomorrow or Wednesday. FYI

Some guy, with the same last name as Don, was on the Carenado Facebook page - my lips are sealed.

This time I will sit and wait for the replies to come in on other forums. I'm not jumping on this. If I don't buy it, I have my eye on a scenery or two.

It's the ONLY freaking Navajo done for FSX (the other one was a portover from FS9) Yeah, I'm waiting on this. Things have changed for me as of late and the last thing I need is another airplane with severely crippled avionics. We'll see. Besides, this is an exec version judging from the interior. No cargo, no beat up seats. Not sure that at all fits what I'd want to do with one anyway. Thanks for the head's up.

Yeah, thanks. I'll wait on this, as well. Now that the Aztec has been announced, I'm less inclined to the Navajo.

One thing to consider is that they have/had (?) a notice on their FB page that the normal method of paying is not working somehow. If that's still the case you must use PP I believe. This notice has been up for quite a while now so I wonder what's really going on there? Not that I don't trust them, but...

<LOL> I say again, "It's the ONLY freaking Navajo done for FSX" FSDS' was an FS9 machine that was (sort of) ported over. Of course, they (Carenado) also said that the Hawker was the best Hawker ever made for FS as well. I would suggest there are more than a "few" people there who would disagree, IF there were any OTHER Hawkers made for FSX. There isn't, so... . If you make a claim of being the best, and you're the only one out there, the claim is a tad hollow I'd say . Anyway, I will be interested to see how this one comes out. With a machine of that ilk, there are some "bugs" I can easily live with, and given the GTN integration, that gets rid of most of the avionics issues for me. So, we'll see .

By the by, I zoomed into Image 21 on the Carenado website for the Navajo. It looks like once again they have not included a To/From flag for the #2 VOR. I can't be certain because I can't get close enough and I don't know if he has a stationed tuned, but I'm waiting at least for that before I'll even consider it. I have reported that bug on virtually every single machine I've bought over the years since the 210. He always fixes it on the model it gets reported on, but then is back on the next model, and so the cycle repeats. The fact that he always fixes the same things on every model soon after the model is released is what lends weight to my theory that he has the patch ready to go before he even releases the airplane. Makes it look like he's listening to the customers, when in fact he's just fixing known bugs that have appeared in all previous releases, but fixing very little in the way of new problems. We shall see, but I'd be willing to bet money the To/From flag is missing on the #2 VOR indicator. Any takers?

That's a bummer. I try to avoid PayPal as much as possible.

Mostly because my bank charges me to use it. That on top of the charge that PayPal itself puts on my purchases just puts me off. It's only three or four Euros a transaction, but still and all. Perhaps it's just because I live in Europe, I don't know. Not to mention that they're forever changing their "Conditions and Agreements", and who has time to go through all that?

I must admit, the "Terms and Conditions" constant changing concerns me too. Why does it need to change every few months, and what's in there now that I don't know. I too use it as little as possible. In theory it's good, but for whatever reasons, I feel uneasy about them. If the Navajo is PP only, I'll have to think hard about it (that said, is Carenado's own payment system actually safer? I'm not at all sure about that).

Interesting - I wasn't aware of hidden charges but I'll move back to my good old bank card.
