Back in '62, when I was newlywed and assigned to YAK, I observed most of this from the back of a Cub or the passenger side of a T-craft. This FR Ultra Cub sports the "N" number of my flying mentor , ex USAAF fighter jock (P51) - since gone west. Tanis Mesa - used to be good moose hunting but lots of wolves. This is Muddy Creek, close to Square and Triangle Lakes. The beach - lots of good stuff from Russian glass float balls to dead Orcas with ivory teeth. Harlequin Lake which now has a road to it - source of the Dangerous River, whatever that means.

Surprised me too - part of Mike's package. Two versions - one with a 55 gallon drum in the back, the other a lady.

I worked for an outfit called Redwing Air Service way back when. We had a Cessna 180 at the time. Body was green, wings were red. You can just imagine the comments .
