Hi all. When I built my computer, I added back in all the ORBX sceneries. I now need to update them as well as the libraries. What order should I do all this in? Should I update all the sceneries first and then add in the library update? Do I only need to add in the latest library update? Not too happy if they have redesigned the library updates. I like having the zips for just the reason I stated above. One never knows when one may need the zip files again. Thanks!!
Oh yes - also adding the freeware add-ons. Should I add those in after the scenery updates, but before the library updates??? Thanks again

All library updates are the very last thing you want to add. My guess is you will only need the latest library, judging from the size of it; but I can't be certain of that. Spud may know the answer to that one. I'd do Global, Open LC, major regions, payware airports, your patches for the above regions, then the freeware airports in that order (or those that you have of that list) and lastly do the library(ies). Then rebuild your scenery.cfg and lastly defrag. Would be a good idea to build in an insertion point via FTX Central as well so you can more easily layer local stuff above the Orbx stuff.

Libraries last, for sure. I'm not sure either if the latest release is a complete library or not.

As already mentioned Libraries are alway the last thing to re-install. Now if you are re-downloading all your ORBX files from the Flightsimstore site most of those downloads will be patched to the latest version and will not require you to get the patches. If your using archived downloads from your own backups then you will need to download the patches as well. Just like the V1 FTX Central you can get a report listing all ORBX software installed and what patch level they are by clicking on Tools in the top menu, picking Installed Products from the list. Its the same as the report in V1.

Most of my ORBX sceneries are on disc. I'll just grab the updates for each area and run them, then do the library last as all suggest. Thanks everyone for the info!!!

If you purchased the software from the Flightsim Store originally then you can re-download anything you purchased anytime you need to at no cost. Just go to your account and sign in. Then goto "My Orders" and pick 'View my download files' and there is a button for each purchase you have made.
