Great snaps! #1 is fine, indeed. Nice grey colour to that airplane, did you do the paint yerself?

Thanks! No, that repaint was in the download. It comes with about a dozen repaints.

Nice captures! My uncle flew Orions for the US Navy. He started with P2V Neptunes, did two tours in Vietnam flying those "beasts" (my uncle's term for them; apparently they were quite difficult to land, often requiring the co-pilot to put his boots on the instrument panel and use all his might to pull back on the control column to affect a reasonable flare.) He then transitioned to Orions when they came on-line, and flew them from all the wonderful vacation spots: Beesville, Tx; Gitmo, Cuba; Iceland; Whidby Island, Wa.; Okinawa ... and several other scenic and fun places over a career spanning about 25 years. My goal has been to find repaints for the Orion representing the units my uncle flew with, and create some high-resolution "action shots" to send him. He's quite tickled with the idea, but I have yet to find repaints for several of the specific squadrons he flew with. ((of course I can't find my list as I write this...)) My intent is to recreate something like this within the sim.. maybe not as 'dramatic' as this painting, but similar. My uncle said that this image represents high altitude and good weather when compared to most of his flying ...
