If one were dumb enought to accidently delete a Default A/C. How would the dummy go about restoring it without reinstalling FSX completely. ?? Carm.

You would have to do a repair, I believe, to get the aircraft back. Another option, if someone uploaded a complete default plane as a repaint to one of the freeware sites. Personally, I would try the repair which I have had to do on several occasions when a file became corrupted. Maybe someone else has a quicker solution.

Yeah, you could try running a repair but if that doesn't work tell me which plane you're missing and I'll send it to you as a zip file.

One caveat about doing an FSX repair. IF you are using FTX Global which is a texture replacement for the FSX default textures and you do a repair it will re-install all the old FSX textures back into the sim. So after a repair you will have to also re-install FTX Global.

Gad! You're right, Spud. I didn't think of that at all. Thanks.
