That's their 100th, so it's half price. Probably around $17 or so. They have pics so maybe next month.

Does CNK4 Parry Sound really have that many Zombies roaming around? Only in the waiting area ... it's a long time between flights.

Its very good they make something for that area. In general, the east coast of the US and Canada could use some attention. I wonder if they will ever release OpenLc NA? ?

I wonder if they will ever release OpenLc NA? ? I hope they don't rush it like Global Vector, which is still too disappointing for me to bother with.

Although marketed by ORBX and as such they deserve "some" of the responsibility, VECTOR is a product of Pilot's and the errors in the original release were their work. The present release of VECTOR v1.20 while still not without a few problems is functional and does what it was meant to do and although Pilot's is slow they are working on correcting the problems.

This is all great they are doing Parry Sound, but you'll notice that this is not in a fat region, yet it's still payware. I wonder if this means the end of the freeware packs we've been seeing and from now on all the add-on's will be payware? Not sure.
OpenLC for Canada and Alaska is going to Beta in March according to JV. As I thought it was supposed to cover all of North America, I don't know if this means that the continental USA is done, or if they only have Alaska and Canada close to being finished, and the USA is still yet to be done. If it's the latter, OpenLC NA is still close to a year away approximately (very approximately - could be out either way by several months I would guess).

Thanks Glenn. Much appreciated. I'll have a go tomorrow. I'm going to hit the pit now as I've been fighting a cold these last few days, and when I am doing that I sleep more than usual. BTW. that was the info I was looking for. Merci!. Cheers, Carm.

I'm not sure, either, but a while back there was some talk that the freeware packs were hurting payware sales and that the freeware airports for NA were going to be put on hold for a bit. Seeing that Parry Sound is in a "non-developed" area does make you wonder about the future of those freeware packs.

I wonder if they will ever release OpenLc NA? ? Yes, its a tough one to complain about the same all the time, but someone has to do so and I have taken that on my narrow shoulders . When ftx global came out in 2013, ORBX promissed us OpenLC for the whole world in 2013/2014. NA to be develloped second (the whole of the NA). As I said before. I prefer a product that is not perfect and with updates later on. Perfect is an illusion. It will never be perfect and expecting so is naive. If they only release Alaska and CDN, I can imagine a lot of people getting pretty mad. The ORBX global series is not really glued together without the OpenLC. Just look at what it did to Europe and even very far from being perfect (which is ok), its by far the best European flight sim scenery base we´ve ever had. Nothing comes close. Good job ORBX. But put some more effort on the rest please. Thats what you promissed.
