Gi, all. Does anyone mess with assigned parking? I have coded my airplanes and have also coded the parking spaces I want them to go to when they land. I notice that they are going there. However, other planes are also still going there. Is there any way to keep the unwanted one away? I have a cargo area that keeps getting populated with passenger planes. I don't want that. Is there a work-around? Thanks!

Put up Private Parking signs ? OK, sorry, just kidding. The only way I could think of is either unassigning a parking spot (so it doesn't look like one) and saving a flight with your aircraft in your desired location, or maybe changing the parking assignment to something different (like water assignment?) so that you can assign your aircraft to that spot, but the AI won't because it's looking for landplanes only. Not sure if that will work but it might be worth a try.

I am looking to park particular AI traffic there (AKCargo, CanGO, Coastal, etc.) not for my plane, but rather the AI.

Hmmnn, ok, not sure how to do that one. Fritz might know once he sees this.
By the by, new pics of the Navajo on FB. Sure looks good, but it had better be steam or I'll probably pass (not definitely - they are modding those things a lot these days to be glass).

I would say 80+ of the responses are for steam. They would be total f%&*ing idiots to do anything but, with that much feedback. On the other hand, it would not take much to do both. Also, if you have followed the forums, MANY people are asking in the Navajo threads for an Aztec. I KNOW they have to be seeing that. Of course, I will go out on a limb and predict another 172 or 182 next! LMAO!! BP;)

Carenado rarely, if ever listens to their customers despite what they say. Let's hope this time they make an exception, but we'll see. I just did a flight in their 1900. Let's hope they make the Navajo to the quality of the newest Saratoga and not the 1900, otherwise we still won't have a Navajo. Yeah, 172 sounds about right. Or maybe a Cherokee 180 .

I am using one called AFX, it's a payware program. I posted something on their forum, but no one has answered at all. I don't want Westjet or Jazz sitting in my cargo area!! BP;)

That's one of the problems. Their cfg entries are fine. Hey - Westjet and Jazz are always welcomed. Just not on a cargo ramp!! BP;)

Use ADE and make sure your parking spot is assigned as "Cargo"?

Which AI program are you using? It seems odd that you can't change the parking spots with AFX.

I can change them with AFX. It doesn't seem to matter. I'll look at ADE.

Is it possible that some aircraft/airlines have multiple parking spots assigned to them? (That's about the only thing I can think of at the moment)
