Yeah, but it's for MSFS, which I don't have.

They released this today. It has a modified cowling, which is not like the MAJORITY of the ones built. They released it with floats, tires and tundra tires. I asked them if they were going to add skis, and was basically told no. That 3 versions is enough for the price. I'm sorry, but tires and tundra ties are the same. That's a contact change in the config. Big deal! They had to have done ZERO research on it. If they had, they would have known that it was built as a float plane first, a SKI plane secondly, and thirdly they put wheels on it. I have a feeling they are not that good at designing and couldn't figure out the animation for skis. It has other bugs from what I have read. Don't people really beta test stuff anymore??? Oh well. They are working on an Otter (another company!) so I'll grab that. I also grabbed an AN-2 today on sale for $9.99. New release, too. Nice plane so far. Oh well. As far as I'm concerned, MSFS still doesn't have a Norseman. Shame on them for not listening to the public.

Let's face it today's simmer has mostly never heard of a Noordyne 'Norseman. A short story - a friend of my parents, Jimmy Clark, flew P 38's (F5 photo rec actually) out of England. At war's end he didn't have the points to rotate back to the States so the AAAF gave him a job flying a surveyor back and forth across Holland and Belgium in a Norseman - nothing but straight lines. After an initial disdain, he learned to really like it, said it flew a lot straighter than the Lightning - End. Even if they built a perfect model, the rush to purchase would be leisurely. Today's simmer want's to start at the top of technology and cares little about a flight model's accuracy or history in the annals of flight. Glass PFD and MFD, Flight management comp and unlimited clickspots. Gone are the days of shaking hands with the prop then cutting around for another shot of prime. 'Clear prop' is just something you mumble by rote from the checklist like 'HERE' when teacher called roll. I always figured it took a 100 hours to learn a plane - had several hundred in each of my four with over three thousand in the Pacer. Nothing like a little rant with my 'Fosters' .

Yeah, it's disappointing but there you are. But, hey!, Fosters is good stuff!

The only negative comments I've read concern the cowling which I would have missed if it hadn't been pointed out. Look forward to a report on this one.

The Mounties always got their man. Wonder how that's working now that our world is "woke". Nice shots by the way - show us some up close stuff so we can armchair critique.

Being "woke" is used incorrectly 99% of the time, it needs not to be used here. I still stand by the no politics rule here, and that word has been 100% politicized. Thanks. BP

Nice pictures!! I'm getting weaker, but I really wish they would have gone with skis as well.
