Of the three, MSFS has the detail, XP looks fine except little detail and P3D is oversaturated. Good shots, whose Aztec?

xhangar-Aztec for X Plane, Carenado for P3D, and the Carenado Seminole in MSFS. I could probably up the detail a bit in X Plane, I just switched to a 12gb Radeon RX 6700 XT. Sue

Sue Your XP shot is fine - it's just that they haven't improved much on their previous generic, fill the gaps type of scenery and the autogen is easily identified as Laminar. Mr Myers has stated that scenery isn't that important and it still shows. Just saw the default SuperCub on a video - now that is good.

I miss the Aztec from FSX. I hope they will move it to MSFS. I'm enjoying the cat fights happening all over the internet about XP-12 / MSFS! LOL!

I hope so too, I'd love to see the Aztec in MSFS. In the meantime, I upped the scenery density in XP 12. Still just north of Inverness airport.

No offense, but that still looks like FSX. The aircraft look pretty good, and the pictures I have seen with rain and puddles looked fantastic. I am not sold on XP12 yet. I'll grab it from Steam if I do, but they need to step up the scenery a lot.

Hey it's a personal choice, not a flame war for me. I fly MSFS more than anything. There's just something about the handling in X plane... I didn't think I'd buy it either, but I liked the demo, which is free BTW. Heck, I still fly IL-2 1946.

As pretty much a screenshooter, my stuff is 'tarted' up to be almost unrecognizable as to sim but XP does have good aircaft, not only payware but even some of the freeware is very good. Looks like most of my '11' scenery will work in '12' - the planes will, I suppose, be a discovery.

I have 11. I'm waiting until 12 comes out of beta and then I'll make my decision. The airplanes, from what I read, are "supposed to" work in 12, but I just read on FB this morning people are having trouble with some. As you know, they may also have had trouble sharpening a pencil. I think the perfect sim exists in both the sims - merge them! Both have different strengths- always have. Scenery has always been weak in XP. Plane dynamics have always been weak in FS (not as bad as now, IMHO!) I'm going with Steam if I go at all. I don't know how long this beta time period is supposed to go, but I am going to watch it. While it sounds dumb, the puddles in XP12 are UNREAL! SO realistic!!! That tells me they have the capability to improve graphics. Clouds are better in XP12 from what I have seen. MSFS clouds, out of the box, seem too cotton candy.

The puddles and rain effects were a big selling point for me too. Doesn't sound dumb at all, or I am too. Pick one (carefully).
Tarting up as I write, downloading a bunch of OrbX "True Earth" scenery for the American PNW, and England.
