Picked up Stewart, Bella Coola and Yakutat on sale today. Looks like Air 'bou will be heading west as planned  . |

LOL! I have to go out to the stortes for a bit today. IF I have any $$$ left, I may grab a plane today. Not sure which one yet!

Got the NZNI to complete the set. First Orbx download that Win Explorer wouldn't/couldn't extract (found a note on the Orbx site - if it's over 2GB don't even try). 7-zip was lurking in my downloads folder and that did the job.

Let us know what you think of it. I've considered that one, and probably will get Jacksons with the bush scenery, but I have thought of NZ fairly often. Looks good from the screenies.

I highly recommend both New Zealand packages. It's a beautiful place to fly, and can be quite challenging. Not that I spend a lot of time there, but the time I do spend there is always fun...
(for what it's worth, I have none of the Australia or New Guinea sets.)

Thanks for this Sandy. I'll see if I can get the KMZ file and see how many airports (including back country) there are. That will help me decide if it's worth the cost. No doubt the quality is there of course. I'm also looking at Jackson as I say, so I may need to start watching my pennies a bit . Appreciate the head's up on this. |
