Well, that's pretty spiffy! What kind of video card do you need to run that?

Holy sticker shock. I just price a new video card, out of curiosity. WOW ! I paid $350-$400 dollars for my RX 580's. They're running over $900 now. Holy bleep.

I wonder if my GTX 1660 Super would do. I doubt it.

The GTX 1060 is said to be the equivalent of the RX 580 and that's what I replaced with the GTX 1660ti so you should be in good shape. It's lying here gathering dust.

Hey Sue - how about selecting a good screenie when you used your previous monitor and recreate the shot using your 4k. I for one would be very interested in seeing the difference.

Much improved lighting in the second shot - allows more detail to show. Probably a lot more going on. I'm checking prices .

I was looking at updating my video card as well. It originally was roughly 700 bucks. It's now double that. I refuse to give in to greedy a-holes. This monitor looks to be a nice improvement on its own and MUCH cheaper. Thanks for the before and after pics. BP
