Just survived a 'reset' on my windows10 and am still picking up the pieces so it'll be a while before I take the plunge.  Friend of mine bought a wireless Xbox and says it's the way to go - much smoother than his hotas.

That top pic looks like a photograph!!!! I just tried to download some HD scenery (looks like a photograph, too!) for the Grand Canyon for X-Plane 11. It is throttled down unless you pay for the "faster download speed". 21 days, 15 hours. LMAO!!! I quit the download!

Brilliant snaps, Sue.  But I was wondering if you were worried about flash floods around Ayers Rock?

I am still waiting for my new Thrustmaster Super Duper (good lord I'm paraphrasing Donald Trump) Throttle controller combo, My T16000M throttle is useless when landing with even the Easy settings. The MSFS weekly updates are beginning to sort out the bugs but with a sim this size it. will be months before I can stop tearing my hair out. the plus sides outweigh the negatives. visuals are stunning, water looks real and changes with the weather, buildings no longer look as if they were built by a Russian Gulag designer. Give it time and I think it will be well worth the investment. My older i7 processor Z180 motherboard, 16 GiB Ram a 1 Tb SSD and 1060 Card give me high end Graphics and 60 fps without a stutter, I can go higher but the cost would not justify the improvement.

Hi Pete. OD, don't feel bad, I just ripped the face off mine and reinstalled everything. Of course, then I realized that the problem was really the video card slot, after buying a new RX580,(which didn't fix the problem) sigh. So I'm waiting on a new mobo (GIGABYTE Z390 Gaming X (Intel LGA1151/Z390/ATX/2xM.2/Realtek ALC892/Intel LAN/HDMI/Gaming Motherboard) ) and I-7 cpu (Intel BX80662I76700K 4512 Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Unlocked Quad Core Sky Lake Desktop Processor, Socket LGA 1151 ). The 32 gb of Corsair Vengeance ram just arrived.
The computer is running now with the video card in the PCie 8 slot, instead of the 16 slot, but I don't trust the mobo now.
Oh well, it's been almost 5 years since I built it, time to upgrade a bit anyway.

That's the MOBO I have now and the correct slot is the one closest to the CPU, furthest from the PSU (brings to mind the vessel with the pestle).

That's the new mobo. The current one is a Gigabyte GA7X-Gaming 5. As I said it's old, at least 5 years, probably more.

 

The vessel with the pestle has the pellet with the poison, the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true !

 I have a DVD of that movie (The Court Jester) "Giacomo, King of Jesters, and Jester of Kings." I also have the Inspector General.
