Here are three shots from overhead with the same criteria as the approach shots.

As you can see the 'Default shot has no river at all.

The top shot is definitely from default FSX; you can tell by how straight the shoreline is; unlike PNW or UTX Canada both of which used a great deal more data points in their shorelines.
