OK clears up my muddled brain. Sort of like FSX is almost fixed, but not yet!

They fixed FSX??? I heard they were going to do that, but that was in 1971. Sounds promising...

My very first experience with FSX was 1992 or three. I friend of mine from Amsterdam gave me a copy of FS on floppy discs, I can't remember what version it was but it was a lotta fun!

My first flight sim experience was at the Science Museum of Virginia ... an old wire-frame FS module on Intel 8088 computers open to the public (sublogic, perhaps, before Microsoft got their fingers in it?) I was hooked then, and remain so now.
Something wonky on the iBlueYonder site, when trying to log in I get long WordPress site error messages.

I still have my copy of the SubLogic Flight Simulator. And a few dozen others as well.

Don't know if this qualifies as a flight sim experience but.......... Back in '77, Anchorage Approach (RAPCON) was still located on Elmendorf AFB at the base of the tower. We provided GCA service for all base traffic which led to those of us who were rated pilots being invited to try out the F4 sim. Hell I was a 4000 hour Pacer pilot so what the hell. After some intense ground schooling, I took my turn and actually got airborne however a slight case of overcontrol put me into the deck almost inverted while still over base property. Talk about being behind the aircraft - we were in separate time zones.
