Yep, sure do. The Bushhawk is a nice little bush plane. It was one of my first payware planes. The amphib model even has a canoe lashed to the struts!

Well got the Bush Hawk. I've only taken a short familiarization in it so far. Looks not too bad. Darned if I can see a canoe on any struts though Fritz. We'll put some time on it tomorrow if the weather holds. Cheers, Carm.

To show the canoe you have use the FSX "Fuel and Payload Manager". Choose an amphib model and open "Fuel and Payload". Go to the "Payload" section, scroll down and select "external". Enter "1" as the value and when you load the airplane the canoe will show.

So if you enter a "2", will a canoe show up on both sides of the aircraft ? (don't laugh too hard - I flew 2 canoes numerous times on the Beaver and a couple of times on the 185 - works fine). By the by, I'd be interested to know if they modeled the effect of the canoe on the side. Likely not but it should cruise about 10 to 20 kts slower and (very unlikely they did this, or even could do this) you should need lots of rudder trim to the opposite side the canoe is on. If anyone has this and wants to try it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Carm, beg pardon, it's the FSX "Fuel and Payload" tab on the Free Flight screen. You remember ... You have to choose the Bush Hawk amphib model first or the payload manager won't be right. P.S. When you installed the Hawk, it automatically created a sub-folder in FSX called "Aerosoft". The manual can be found there. Mind you, the secret of the canoe is not revealed.

I don't remember if the amphib model flew crooked with the canoe attached or not. I can tell you that the FDE's take into account fuel consumption, and if you don't manage your tanks correctly you will wander all over the place. It really is a good model, even after all these years. The icing effects are wonderful.
