Hey Glenn, I was doing my usual check of CYYZ with FlightRadar last night and midst the comins and goins was the usual ground stuff, but last night the 'Animal control' equipment was running around up at the north end of the field. Wonder what or who was the animal they were after . Cheers.

Coyotes seem to like northern airports - we had several families on the Anchorage airport. Occasionally a moose - Alaska Air hit one on 6R with a 727 - not much damage to the plane but the moose was totalled.

Animal control?? Jeez, I wish they would leave me in peace... err, <ahem>, never mind . Could be almost anything Carm. Even a local dog on the loose, but they do have a Deer issue there, and as Dave suggested, Coyotes are fairly prolific there, although it's a little harder for them to move around than it used to be before it got so built up.
