Happy New Year! May life smile upon you all. Easy for you to say, sitting in a balmy fifty plus degrees. You could be in Minnesota enjoying the snow .

Would have vastly preferred snow.

How close to Central is Arcadia? - lived there for three years.

Arcadia is south of Tampa directly on the west coast so its not Central FL but this time of year the temps are fairly constant for the majority of the peninsula. Of course Pensacola where I am is way over to the western side or the "Panhandle" which other parts of FL don't seem to remember is a part of FL. Matter of fact some years ago FL issued an official state map that completly left the panhandle off the map. We be the 'red headed stepchild' of FL.

Actually 52 miles inland at the intersection of FL70 and US17 in the heart of what used to be 'cowboy country'. Nice life style but the summers were 'Godawful'.
