Dang I'm not really into tube liners, but that does look good ! Must exercise restraint. I know I wouldn't fly it enough to justify buying it, but, but... LOL sue

I'm gonna have to have that one! I probably won't fly it very often but, boyo, it sure does look fantastic!

Thanks Spud. That Connie will fit in just great with the rest of my Connie fleet. Maybe for Christmas ?. When ever,!! I'll have her for sure.
Cheers.
Here's a couple of shots of my favourite Connie rides, the TCA is a G, and the Nordair a H.
Both these beauties are sitting at their gates at CYYZ.

Now, that's impressive! Not my favourite airliner (I'm a 737 guy) but it goes on the wishlist for sure. I have A2A's B377 COTS package but haven't had enough nerve to install it, let alone attempt to fly it!

Ahh, the Connie. What's the difference between the "G" and the "H"?

Appearance wise, not a heck of a lot Fritz. As I recall the "G" is primarily a passenger A/C, while the "H" is primarily a freighter. These two A/C are Manfred Jahn's offering and they are very good and if flown ' by the book' will keep you busy. I also had his 1649 Starliner, which is Lockheed's really long range version of the Connie but I didn't like it ---for some reason . A2A's Constellation has to be very very good to beat Jahn's A/C if for no other reason than the price. Cheers, Carm.

The model '049' which A2A says is theirs, was the first civilian model. More common was the '749' which PNA flew into Yakutat when we were there. The overseas model was the '1049' with turbocharged R3350's. The military C121 was also the '1649' - the ultimate beast.
