I've just loaded the V2.5 of Nvidia Profiler (the separate from Inspector version) and am wondering - does it kick in automatically when FSX starts or do I do something else? Also, I have similar settings loaded on Nvidia Control Panel - should I cancel these or leave them be?

Is that the Nvidia Profiler Inspector? If it is, then you don't have to do anything else. The settings will get applied when you start FSX. It should also override the Nvidia Control Panel.

Whoa, I missed something. What's the difference between Profile Inspector and plain Inspector?

Yes, there's a difference. For a while already the new version software do have 2 exe-files:
- nvidiaInspector.exe This file (now in version 1.9.7.8) gives an overview about technical datas of your installed graphic card. Additionally as before there's a button for overclocking - experts only! - nvidiaProfileInspector.exe This file is what you know from before: the Nvidia Inspector software for doing your settings for FSX.
Search for FSX has changed (name). Do a search for - Microsoft Flight Simulator 10 In here you might do your settings or import your FSX settings created with the former version. When finished don't forget to press "Apply changes".

The version of 'Profiler' I'm using is 2.1.3 and has only 'MS Flight Simulator X' in the list.
